This is a favorite spot with the locals in Sharpsburg and beyond for libations and food. Once owned by Captain Raleigh Bender, C&O Canal boat captain, 1930s to 1980s.

This is a casual pub environment with typical bar offerings, but also with unexpected chef’s specials ranging from cold peach soup, shrimp risotto, to prime rib. Taco Tuesday is a favorite.
