Woolmers Estate is the second of Longford's World Heritage Listed estates. Wander the grounds and the rose garden or explore the former home of Thomas Archer, gentleman farmer and parliamentarian . Woolmers was continuously occupied by the Thomas Archer family from circa 1817 to 1994 and is acknowledged as one of the most outstanding examples of 19th century rural settlements in Australia.

One of the finest historic estates in Australia, which provides a window into the lives of the Archer Family and their convict servants. There is a panoramic view over the Norfolk Plains, and Woolmers is also home to the National Rose Garden.
