Dorothy is internationally renown children's book specialist and author. She started this store, my parents owned it after her for many years. This speciality children's bookshop is a destination shop for international visitors and is much loved by local parents. Located in Three Lamps, the far end of Ponsonby Rd, this is a short bus or car ride away).

The best bookstore in Auckland for children's books, wonderful selection and helpful staff. Dorothy Butler was an inspiration for young readers and a generous benefactor of the arts.
