This mom and pop grocery store is located about a block away and has the basics when you are in a rush. You can grab some eggs for breakfast or a cup of coffee and sit outside and watch the locals. The store is inside someone's home - just like the good ole days

Old school corner store run by the affable Mah brothers, who know everyone in the neighbourhood. McGill Grocery has the basics plus extras requested by regulars: Avalon Organic milk, donuts and a pot of coffee if you feel like sitting for a chat. You can also buy a lottery ticket and find out if you become a millionaire (unfortunately, not enough $ to buy a house in Vancouver!)

Closest corner store! Not 7/11 but next best thing! Great local spot for late night snacks, bread, milk etc.
