If you walk towards the windmills, there is a great terrace at the corner where you can sit outside away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre overlooking the windmills.

restaurant for locals in our quarter, specialised in high level meat, also fresh fish, all home made (even the Belgian chips, hand cut and fried in beef 's fat!)

Literally: the Lost Corner... A part of town that is forgotten about by locals as well as by visitors. Beautiful though: the windmills, the museum of Guido Gezelle with its beautiful inner garden. One of the windmills is occasionally open to the public. A must, especially with kids...
