Torre de Don Carles. A place of great tourist interest is this tower erected in the mid 16th century, in the days of the lord of Taradell, Carles de Cruïlles and Vilademany, from whom he borrowed his name. Located between the Placa and the streets of Quintana and Guillem de Mont-rodon, it raises the Torre de Don Carles Tower, also known as the Tower of the prison.The tower of late Gothic style had the function of guard tower and defense and was possibly the beginning of a fortification work.
