At the Old Telegraph Station there are a variety of options to choose from. There is a simple cafe on site. You can choose to do a guided tour through the historical area for a cost. Tours are conducted every half hour. There is a large grassed area to relax on and watch the wildlife. Have a BBQ or picnic (gas BBQ and tables provided). If you are feeling more adventurous you can explore the many trails that branch out from the Old Telegraph Station. These can be expored on foot or by mountain bike (hire avaliable at cafe).

The original site of the local Springs (named after Alice) and the iconic outback town of Alice Springs, now an historical reserve will provide you with an important account of the history of central Australia. Take a tour, or a picnic, and try the beautiful mountain bike trails for some of the best views in Central Australia.

A great spot for beautiful walks - you'll feel like you're in the wilderness and you're just outside of town. You can rent mountain bikes here to use on the trails too. Great spot for a picnic.

Historic site, and within walking distance of the unit! Explore the great trails north to the Telegraph Station, have a coffee and cake at the Trail Station cafe, and hire a mountain bike if you have time and get onto those trails for a great adventure.

This is the birth place of Alice Springs, where you can view some of the historic buildings. The grassy expanses are perfect for picnics and their are free bbqs. Just under 3 km to our property.
