Greta for Brunch or those with a sweet tooth! The homemade cakes like lemon meringue, Victoria sponge, quiet cakes, rhubarb tarts are all the best in the city. The hiddledy piggledy mismatched crockery adds homely charm to this quaint little cafe. Not a lot of space but bursting with taste and…

Go here at least once when your visit Dublin! Cakes are unreal and they do lovely warm scones, deserts are awesome! Can get really busy so make sure you get there early. Usually a queue waiting outside. Love inside and out. Have a nice little balcony area you can sit inside with a view of all the…

Queen of Tarts has a huge selection of cakes and pastries. There are two locations -- one on Dame Street, and (the original) one just around the corner on Cow's Lane. So if one's busy, just walk around to the other one! Cow's Lane has a few boutique shops and on weekends there's a small designer…

Government Building
“There is so much to see in Dublin Castle, you won't be disappointed. The oldest tower dates back to 1228. The grounds are free to walk around, visit the gardens and the Chester Beatty Library while you're there.”

Pub
“One of the oldest pubs in Dublin, this pub was named after a chapel dedicated to Saint George in 1181. The Long Hall preserves a Victorian atmosphere evoking a by-gone age. The original pub which backs on to Dublin Castle opened in the 1860's and was much used by the Fenians. Today, The Long Hall retains much of its old charm; on the walls are engravings of the dealings of the Russian Emperor Paul I with the Polish patriot Kosiusko as well as prints of Gainsborough ladies. Over the entrance to the toilets are panels of art nouveau glass. The woodwork interior adds an air of authenticity to the premises.”
