Just north past Hollywood is Dania Pointe. It has its own beach and fishing pier that caters more to locals and families, and a newer outdoor mall with many restaurants, shops, and movie theater.

Welcome to Broward's FIRST City!! At one point Dania Beach was considered a "Pass thru city" but try buying real estate and you'll see that is no longer the case! We have a very natural, inviting beach, we have a pier that is almost 1,000 feet long. You can fish, you can watch the sunset, just watch the water or the turtles. We also have great entertainment! Everyone is aware of the Hard Rock Casino but Dania has it's own Casino, the Dania Beach Casino!! It's got a great location - you can hop on every major highway within 5 minutes. Close to the both South Florida airports and right between the city of Fort Lauderdale and Miami - so you have so much to choose. We love this city!!

Dania city offers relaxing vibes. You can enjoy the beaches, outdoor mall shopping, Dania Casino, tons of restaurants, bars, ice-cream shops, fishing at the pier, boating, paddle-boarding, and so many more outdoor activities.

Dana beach is wide and open. It does not have the "Sky line" of tall skyscrapers along the beach. More wild nature. There is also a very nice park there. For a "hoppin" "touristy" kind of vibe with lots of Pina Coladas you want Hollywood Beach. Hanover Beach has a nude beach. Oleta River Park is also nice for a family. Has picnic tables under shady trees, but very crowded on weekends.
