(5 minute walk) Seafood on the Seafront from amazing fresh shellfish to seafood risotto, fish pie, fried fare, pasta and humous. Tables inside and out. Bustly and relaxed. Staff are great with children of all ages.

The Regency Town House, built in the 1820s, is a grade 1 listed terraced house in the heart of Brunswick Town, a Georgian estate in the City of Brighton & Hove on the Sussex coast. It is being developed by staff & volunteers as a heritage centre and museum, with its activities funded through The Brunswick Town Charitable Trust, a charity set up to support the project in 1992. If it's open, it's worth a look see, plus they often have interesting cultural events and exhibitions.

Only open at certain times, so check on their website - this museum will teach you about life and houses in Regency times.
