This is one of the shortest hikes of Table Mountain to the cave roughly 30 min up and 30 min down. I can offer you advise on the route to take and the times for this climb. Protea season this is a spectacular hike. The views from the cave are great and it is a large cave.

A cool spot if you don't feel like climbing all the way up Table Mountain/Devil's Peak. You go up towards the contour path and then around to an amazing overhang, sometimes with a waterfall.

You may have spotted this cave from De Waal drive, it’s a thin crack in the mountain that invites exploration. You can reach it from either Rhodes Memorial or from Tafelberg Road, both routes offer expansive views of the city below.
