Recently renovated to a high standard, well worth a visit, just 2 miles away.

Located half way between Betws-y-Coed and Llandudno on the A470 (and nowhere near Colwyn Bay as the address suggests), this former coaching inn has been virtually rebuilt. I keep hearing mixed reviews about the food but on the two occasions I've been, I enjoyed my meal. Booking advised at weekends.

Conveniently located on the A470 at the bottom of our hill, The Tal-y-Cafn pub and restaurant is open all day, every day serving a wide menu of food and drink options. It's very popular, so book ahead of time.

The Tal-y-Cafn was recently refurbished and reopened. It is now an upmarket gastropub (around £7-10 starters and £15-20 mains). We went recently and very much enjoyed it - great quality food and friendly service. It is often full, so book ahead.
