Tio Pepe's is a traditional cantina, elegant and friendly, casual and easygoing. Great for botanas, or snacks, and cold beer and conversation. Old men playing dominoes beside hipsters hugging half carafes of house wine.

Cantinas usually serve "free" food after consumption of drinks (usually 3) and this is a nice place entrenched in China town.

A great place to have a cold beer or a straight shot in an original bonafide Mexican bar. Stop by after a long walk and get your second wind.
