One of the world's great natural wonders - the glistening white sands of New Mexico. Giant dunes of pure white gypsum sand covering 275 square miles of desert, creating the world's largest gypsum dunefield. Go on a hike or sled down the dunes. Your pictures will look like you are standing in snow!

White sand dunes composed of gypsum crystals covering 275 square miles. This trip is around 3.5 hours south of Albuquerque. You can drive the dunes, hike, ride horses, sled or bike.
