Great Meadows is home to the famous Virginia Gold Cup horse races that are held every Spring and Fall - rain or shine. During the summertime you can attend Twilight Polo on Saturday nights, or if you don't want to wait you can schedule a trail ride through the pristine 250 acres that the Great Meadows Foundation saved from housing development plans in the 80's. They also have the best display of fireworks in the region for the fourth of July.

Watch arena polo 6-9pm Saturday nights. Great for families. Tailgate, food trucks, games for kids. Watch grass polo Sundays 11am-2pm
