Stylish eatery with a bar where Argentine-inspired NW fare is cooked on a wood-fired grill. Since COVID, they now take reservations. Be sure to book a reservation unless you don’t mind waiting hours for a table. The Whey Bar is in the back - great for a cocktail if you have to wait for a table.

Ox is a lovely Argentinean-food inspired restaurant in the Northeast neighborhood of Portland. The restaurant is very popular among the locals for its culinary delights and warm, yet trendy and romantic atmosphere. The place serves beef and seafood delicacies just the way they are served in Argentina. They also house a collection of fine wines and heart-warming desserts. For a special treat, reserve the chef's table or share Asado Argentino meal for two with a loved one. Reservations are advised for larger groups to avoid long wait times.

This restaurant has been on the Portland 38, best places to eat year after year. We highly recommend for an experience but do not recommend taking small children. Perfect place for a date night or grown up outing!
