On Alva Street, a continuation of William Street in the West End, Forage and Chatter specialises in what it says, forage, so expect wild herbs and weeds amongst the ingredients differentiating this restaurant from the crowd. The food is casually presented but exquisite in flavour; probably my favourite locally.

While this is slightly pricier than the other restaurants, we do enjoy the lovely ambience in this restaurant and the earthy, delicious food that they serve. As suggested by their name, the restaurant does source some of their ingredients from a forager and we could really taste this in our food!

A casual but high quality restaurant with a menu making use of Scotland's natural bounty, much of which is foraged. Be sure to book ahead!

This restaurant is at the end of Alva street , quiet restaurant with excellent food but need to book.
