Turn into the parking lot marked Tillinghast Estates. There is plenty of parking. It’s free, never that crowded.

Our favorite nearby spot for a picnic or long walk on the beach. This is a private facility, owned by the Rhode Island School of Design. On perfect summer weekends, you may be asked to show your RISD ID.
