Historic and beautiful carousel, newly refurbished and open on weekends seasonally (closes in early October). Each horse is hand-carved artwork. Choose from a stationary horse, or a sleigh, or one of the horses that goes up-and-down. If you pick an outside horse, you can reach for the rings that are extended during the ride, and then toss them into a Clown's mouth. A golden ring gets a free ride. The classic organ provides a fun bit of nostalgia, but can get a bit loud. If kids are sensitive to noise, check out the "sensory-friendly" times on Saturdays from 12-3pm.

Great for kids! Next to a nice park on the water, and close to several other parks.

Enjoy a ride on the historic Loof Carousel in East Providence. Great seafood at Blount Shack next door to the Carousel. Overlooking Narragansett Bay.

An antique carousel that still works. Great place to take the kids for a ride. There's a little park across the street that goes down to the bay.

Gorgeous big hand-carved horses and beautiful vintage artwork and organ. This grandiose historic carousel MOVES!! What a great ride---you will want to go round again, and again! great concession stand, and the bayside park often has events in the summer months. Concession stand serves quality local fare.
