Good local spot to have coffee, tea or cake. One can sit outside by the river. Brasserie restaurant upstairs also with a river view.

Riverside is on left, just over the Cliffe bridge and in addition to a great cafe with reasonably priced food and good service, the building also includes other great independents - including a butchers, fishmonger, barbers, etc.

I highly recommend this Restaurant and Cafe, really delicious basic British food i.e baked potatoes, egg bacon,and more - only known by locals and hidden away upstairs at the RiverSide shopping complex. Right in the centre of town over looking the river.

Overlooking the river, this cafe is bright and airy. In a building with several stalls, including a butchers, a sweet stall and a haberdashery.
