TaiPan Disco is a combination of a pub, bar and a club with live music (usually alternating between pop and rock) from 8.45pm through almost midnight, then the place turns into a disco (no entry fee). They have games, prizes, and pole dancing and the crowd is made up equally of expats and tourists. Happy hour. A music and dance temple where everything is really on offer. A melting pot for the intense nightlife in Patong. Tai Pan is just opposite the entrance to the world famous Bangla road.
