Venetian masks workshop "Cà Macana". The workshop Cà Macana is responsible for the creation and the sale of Venetian carnival masks in papier-mache since 1984. In more than thirty years of activity, this workshop has helped to make known in the world the ancient tradition of Venetian masks. Realizing Venetian masks is the result of the synergy of multiple arts and crafts without limits to creativity, thanks to the union of sculpture, painting and different decorative techniques. The workshop Cà Macana offers courses of decoration and production of masks for the most curious and enterprising tourists. Duration: 2.5 hours Course languages: English, French, Russian and Italian Maximum number of partecipants: 70 people seated on stools White masks to decorate: 1 for each person, chosen from 60 different models in papier-mache and handmade Choice of decoration techniques: 12, all different from each other Objectives of the course: explain the ancient technique to make a Venetian mask of papier-mache, give the most significant information on the use of the mask in Venice and decorate a papier-mache Venetian mask of your choice. Laboratorio di maschere veneziane Cà Macana. Il laboratorio artigianale Ca’ Macana si occupa della creazione e vendita di maschere di carnevale veneziane in cartapesta dal 1986. In più di trent’anni di attività, questo laboratorio ha contribuito a rivitalizzare e far conoscere nel mondo la tradizione antica delle maschere di Venezia. Realizzare maschere veneziane è il frutto della sinergia di più arti e mestieri senza limiti alla creatività. Unendo scultura, pittura e diverse tecniche decorative. Il negozio/laboratorio Cà Macana propone corsi di decorazione e produzione di maschere per i turisti più curiosi ed intraprendenti. Durata: 2,5 ore Lingue del corso: Inglese, Francese, Russo e Italiano E' possibile una traduzione consecutiva in altre lingue a cura del gruppo ospite. Numero massimo di partecipanti: 70 persone sedute su sgabelli. Maschere bianche da decorare: 1 per ogni persona, scelte fra 60 modelli diversi, tutti in cartapesta e fatti a mano Tecniche di decorazione a scelta: 12, tutte diverse fra loro Obiettivi del corso di decorazione:spiegare la tecnica antica per fare una maschera veneziana di cartapesta, dare le informazioni più significative sull'uso della maschera a Venezia, decorare in modo creativo una maschera veneziana di cartapesta a scelta.
