Alice Lake has family friendly beaches and a network of trails that will keep every level of biker or trail runner interested. Spend the whole day here by taking advantage of the day-use bbq pits.
Beaches, trails. Very popular with Vancouverites in summer, so best to avoid on weekends unless you get there before 10:00 am, or in the late afternoon.
Awesome hiking trails. Dog friendly and some great swimming "beaches". It is one of the more touristy places though and can be busy with a full campground and day goers, but it's definitely worth doing the trails to see a few of the beautiful lakes in Squamish in one easy-going family pace.
Alice Lake is a quick drive or a fun bike ride. You can rent paddle boards. This is a great place to access the mountain biking mecca that Squamish has to offer. There is something for everyone. Or, hold the 4 Lakes Trail ...any time of year.

“Even if this place was sub-par we'd still go here because it's one of a few sushi restaurants in town, but guess what! It's VERY GOOD -- and this is coming from a sushi junkie who used to live in Vancouver, the sushi capital of the world. We are so lucky here in Squamish to have Sushi Sen. Make a reservation or get there early or else wait in line! :/”
